His professional focus centers on delivering safe, patient-centered perioperative care while supporting surgical teams in achieving optimal clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, he has provided anesthesia services for orthopedic, spine, pediatric, and ambulatory surgical procedures, with expertise in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and acute pain management. He is deeply committed to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous quality improvement in perioperative medicine. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he has held leadership roles including Medical Director and Director of Anesthesia in ambulatory surgery settings. These positions have allowed him to contribute to program development, clinical protocol optimization, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary team leadership. Prior to her current role, Denia worked for over a decade at one of the oldest private foundations in Los Angeles, where she gained valuable experience in the nonprofit sector. Her commitment to public service is further demonstrated by her academic achievements; she holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Outside of her professional life, Denia cherishes spending time with her family. Carmen Muñoz Vicedo, VP Business Development. Advisor New York As a cancer survivor, Carmen brings a deeply personal perspective to the Advisory Board, understanding firsthand that successful treatment requires both medical care and robust psychiatric support. Carmen combines this passion with a seasoned background in international business development and regulatory compliance. She applies her extensive experience in international relations and business planning to drive the organization’s mission forward by cultivating strategic partnerships. Originally from Spain, Carmen calls New York home, where she has lived for the last 20 years wit her husband and daughter.

Fernando Lamp Web Developer Fernando Lamp Jr. serves as a Web Developer for the Rocha-Cadman Foundation, where he applies his technical expertise to strengthen the organization's digital presence and advance its mission. Focused on creating user-friendly, accessible and reliable web solutions, Fernando manages the foundation’s online platforms to support clear communication with donors, partners, and the broader community. He is passionate about using technology to amplify the foundations impact and extend its reach in service of those it supports.

Ana Velez CFO/ Treasurer Ana L. Vélez, originally from Medellín, Colombia, brings nearly two decades of experience in Human Resources and organizational leadership, with a strong commitment to service and community impact. As Treasurer of The Rocha-Cadman Foundation, she plays a key role in supporting the organization’s financial stewardship and advancing its mission to provide compassionate support, resources, and dignity to low-income cancer patients and their families. A lifelong friend of the foundation’s founder, Dr. Xiomara Rocha-Cadman, Ana joined the organization with a shared vision of expanding access to care and support for underserved communities. Her professional background in human resources has strengthened her skills in organizational management, accountability, and collaborative leadership—assets that contribute to the foundation’s growth and sustainability. Outside of her professional and philanthropic work, Ana enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and volunteering with animal rescue organizations. She remains deeply committed to service and to creating meaningful impact in the lives of those facing difficult circumstances.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​

Gina Waterman Advisor Gina Waterman has over a decade of experience as a social worker supporting neglected and abused children, and has been an advocate for youth who often lack a voice in the systems designed to protect them. Her determination to ensure that every child receives the care and respect they deserve has defined her professional journey and drawn her to like-minded causes. Her volunteer work also reflects her dedication to providing support and advocacy, and she has served as a Humane Society classroom educator, teaching youth about animal welfare and responsible animal care, acted as a Court Appointed Special Advocate through the CASA organization, serving as the “eyes and ears’ of the judge to ensure that foster youth receive stable placements and supportive services, and as a trained Hospice volunteer, offering companionship and respite care for patients and their families.​​​​​​​

Catalina Yturralde BA Business Advisor Texas Catalina Yturralde is an entrepreneur, business leader, award-winning interior designer, and Founder of Meraki Casa Designs. She is honored to serve as an Advisor to the Rocha-Cadman Foundation, where she helps advance the Foundation’s mission of supporting cancer patients, increasing awareness, and expanding access to lifesaving resources. Catalina’s dedication to this work is deeply personal. Her family’s journey with multiple myeloma has given her firsthand insight into the challenges faced by patients and caregivers, inspiring her commitment to improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer. Through her leadership, compassion, and strategic perspective, she is committed to serving patients and families while helping strengthen the Foundation’s impact in the communities it serves. Catalina lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and is the proud mother of three adult children.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Stephania Olamendi, MPH Secretary Stephania Olamendi brings a lifelong dedication to health equity shaped by both her lived experiences and academic journey studying public health. Growing up in a community deeply impacted by health disparities, Stephania witnessed firsthand the urgent need for systems rooted in access, prevention, and accountability.  ​Stephania’s experience spans multiple sectors including clinical research to private health care consulting. This experience has led her to build an extensive background in health care administration and operations, where she has  focused on delivering efficient, patient-centered care by  strengthening internal systems.  As a board member of this emerging health foundation, Stephania is proud to help steward resources toward initiatives that reflect our collective values of equity, compassion, and social justice ensuring that the voices of those most affected by health disparities remain at the center of our work.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Sharon Correa, B.S. Information Systems Advisor Sharon M. Correa has spent more than 25 years in nonprofit healthcare, serving in process improvement, quality, IT, and operational leadership roles. For the past five plus years, she has worked in significantly underserved communities across South Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Compton, and San Bernardino County as Chief Information Officer, designing systems and processes that expand access to primary care, behavioral health, dental services, and wraparound support. She considers this work both a privilege and a vocation. Her expertise includes systems implementation, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma), and change management. She previously served as a Member-at-Large and President of the Glendale Community Free Clinic, closely affiliated with Adventist Health. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Ivelisse [Ivy] Belardo Licensed Master Social Worker Advisor/Fundraiser Ivy is an accomplished healthcare education leader with more than 30 years of service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). She currently serves as the Manager of the Comskil Program in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.​ Her career is deeply connected to the legacy of Dr. Jimmie C. Holland, founder of Psycho-Oncology, whom she supported for over two decades as a senior executive assistant, contributing to research, publications, and global psycho-oncology initiatives. A dedicated community and global health advocate, Ivy is an Executive Board Member and Secretary of Friends of Psycho-Oncology Africa (FPOA), supporting capacity-building programs throughout the continent. She has also contributed leadership to the American Psycho-Oncology Society (APOS) National Counseling Helpline, Bronx Pride [grassroot], Gay Men’s Health Center (GMHC), and the LGBTQ+ Center’s family programs.
